Pyramid ridge revealed

The Foundation currently responsible for exploring the Bosnian Valley of Pyramids at Vosoko, which is believed to be home to a number of ancient pyramids, says it has further proof that the largest site, named the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, is a true pyramid. The Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun Foundation has found what it believes to be the line that joins the North and East sides of the pyramid - see images, below. So far the Foundation has uncovered about 6 m of the ridge that it says forms the 'join' between the two faces of the pyramid.

Mother of all Pyramids ?Excavations at the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun are underway in earnest following the launch of the formal excavation programme in April. Explorer Sam Osmanagic believes that their work could help uncover the "mother of all pyramids", all the more surprising because of the location of the pyramid, in Europe. Early results from the excavations could give some indication that his theory may be correct, certainly in terms of a link to pyramids
in Egypt and South America. It is reported that the blocks at the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun show similarities to other pyramids, particularly in terms of their size - some 20m long. More should come to light as the excavations continue. All the work done at the site so far has been funded by Osmanagic himself and Bosnians around the world, who are starting to show their support for the project. excavation sites

Make sure that your Terrain Option is ON Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun     9 June 2006 Excavations reveal manmade blocks at Valley of Pyramids   Digging is now taking place at more than 20 locations at the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun (Visocica) and over 30 on the Bosnian Pyramid of the Moon (Pljesevica), in addition to some 50 smaller locations. The images from the excavations clearly show layers of massive blocks, identified by the excavators as manmade. Excitement is high among volunteers at the site as a result of the ongoing discoveries. These images (see below) are from different locations at the Visoko site .   6 August 2006 Pyramids dated to 10BC The Foundation of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun (APBS) believes that the pyramidal site at Visocica at some 8,000 to 12,000 years old. The dating follows analysis of the materials taken from the site. The site team studied the layers of earth covering blocks at the site. Some 1cm of earth is believed to represent around 200-300 years. After finding layers of earth at a thickness of some 40cm, the team reached its conclusion that the structure is some 8,000-12,000 years old. Analysis from the Institute in Tuzla of the massive blocks found at Visocica also indicates that the blocks are not natural, because of their density. The Foundation team reported, “Since we did not find any blocks like this in the surrounding Valley, we can conclude that these blocks were either moulded here or brought from another region.” If you can't see video clip (click here)
