Tunnel excavations reveal new clues 10 May 2007

Work in the tunnels at Ravne is progressing
according to schedule. The excavations are
expected to reveal the truth, or otherwise, of local
stories in which people in the past are said to have
entered the tunnels and emerged at the top of
the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun. This week the
Foundation revealed images of objects found
inside the tunnels, including a wheel-shaped
stone and the image of a fish cut into rock.
See images, below, alongside a map of
the tunnel excavations.

Electromagnetic changes in the atmosphere around the pyramid.

30 April 2007

The APBPS foundation invited Dr. Harry Oldfield, who has been researching into electromagnetic fields, to visit Visoko to record electromagnetic changes in the atmosphere around the pyramid. Last weekend Dr Oldfield, who is from the UK, visited the site to measure changes around the Bosnian Pyramid of The Sun. These changes cannot be seen with the human eye but can be recorded electronically. Dr Oldfield noticed that the electromagnetic fields around the pyramid are vertical rather than horizontal, which is unusual since vertical fields are characteristic of artificial buildings rather than natural formations. He also recorded more activity than expected, with strong electromagnetic fields above the Bosnian Pyramid of The Sun. These pulsed electric fields rose vertically and disappeared into the atmosphere.

This week Dr Karlin Tag (Archaeology and geology) has also been visiting Visoko to investigate how the large stone blocks found at the site may have been transported around the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids.
