KTK tunnel 23 July 2007
These are the latest images from the tunnel excavation work in the KTK tunnel. The work is exposing a series of man-made tunnels that the APBPS Foundation is excavating, up to a depth so far of several hundred metres. The images show some of the tunnels that have been cleared to date, and the entrance of another tunnel that has yet to be excavated. It is unclear so far how deep the tunnels go, but the Foundation believes they extend several kilometres.

Today at Bosnias Valley of Pyramids 24 June 2007

Work at Bosnia’s Valley of the pyramids is currently on hold, awaiting permission from the Ministry of Culture to resume excavations. The Foundation APBS applied for permission to start digging in March 2007 but there has still been no answer from the Ministry.
The Ministry has also extended the protection area on the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun (Visocica Hill). This protection area has been extended to 98 times the original protected area.
The summit of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun is protected as it is the location of the former Royal Town of Visoki (see below).
The newly-extended protection area covers earlier excavation sites, conducted by the Foundation last year.
Expectations of breakthroughs were raised last winter when the Foundation used geo-radar to locate chambers inside the pyramid. However, permission to excavate in the areas where the geo–radar indicated anomalies has since been withdrawn. Ordinary people in Bosnia are fully backing of the excavations and are arguing that they have right to explore.
The Ministry does not have the right to stop issuing new permissions—that lies with local government — but it is attempting to influencing government decisions.
While this intransigence continues, more proof of the existence of manmade structures around the pyramids continues to emerge. Last month local residents, 5km south east of Visocica Hill, discovered more blocks on their private land (3D image).
Ordinary Bosnians are helping to prove the hypothesis of Pyramids in Bosnia by carrying out explorations on their own land, where the Ministry is unable to prevent excavation work.

Royal Town of Visoki
The summit of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun is home to the Royal Town of Visoki which was last inhabited in the 14th century. Following the Turkish invasion, this town was burnt down and today there are few traces of it.
Little national importance was attached to the site, including from the Ministry of Culture, until Semir Osmanagic presented his plan to protect this area and all other cultures of which traces have been found here (including the Romans and Ilirians).
It is commonplace to find a range of different cultures on ancient pyramid sites. For example, in South America churches were built on top of pyramid structures.
